The Minister of Social Affairs Madam Pauline Irene Nguene, has launched a call for more solidarity and social inclusion in favour of socially vulnerable children in the South West and North Regions of Cameroon.
She made this revelation on Friday October 30, 2021 in GHS Limbe during the occasion of scholarship award ceremony for vulnerable children from the North West and South West Regions.
The Social Affairs Boss, instructed the Operational Units of the Ministry of Social Affairs to provide these children and their families with all the psychosocial support necessary for their stability and harmonious development.

The same is true for the defense and protection of the rights of the most vulnerable.” Irene Nguene explained. The UN convention on the Right of Persons with Disabilities also emphasizes the need to promote education that is adapted to the need of the individual, takes into account his or her environment and contribute to his full inclusion. Equally, Universal Declaration of Human Right equally states in its article 26 that “ Everyone has the right to education” The United Nations Convention on the rights of the child and the African Charter on the Rights and Welfare of the child make the right to education one of the fundamental rights of the child without exception.
