Fako Divisional Youth Parliamentarian, Hon. Adolf Elive Mwambo and two other youth volunteers have been honored with Ministerial Awards for their outstanding contribution to humanitarian response following the July 2026 flood disaster in Limbe.

The recognition ceremony took place on Thursday, October 8, 2026, at the Conference Room of the Regional Delegation of Youth Affairs and Civic Education for the South West Region in Buea.

The award highlights the intervention of Local Goodwill Clusters (LOGOCs) from Limbe I and Limbe III in supporting communities affected by the floods.

The award was presented on behalf of the Minister of Youth Affairs and Civic Education by the Regional Delegate, Mr. Isaac Ekombe Mbua.

Besides Hon. Mwambo, Mr. Esunge Mokoko Richard and Miss Ebude Blessing Ajebe-Nnoko also received Ministerial Awards for their volunteer contributions.

Through this recognition, Hon. Mwambo’s intervention as a youth volunteer underscores the growing role of young people in community service and emergency response.
