The Nation Builders Integrity Mentoring Program, a leadership initiative focused on raising leaders of character for local and global transformation, on Saturday, October 3, 2026, graduated its second batch of Integrity ambassadors at Eden Radio Conference Hall, Mile 2 Limbe with a strong call for moral reformation in Cameroon.

This second batch was commissioned by the Fako Divisional Delegate of Youth Affairs and Civic Education, Jr. Mosongo Esomba in the presence of Municipal, Religious, and Corporate authorities.

He urged the graduates to be ambassadors of the institution wherever they find themselves and to create impact as Nation builders.

Speaking to the press, the founder and lead mentor, Raymond Njume Njikang said Cameroon is not suffering from a lack of experts but from a deficiency in character and morality.

“In our society, we have intellectuals and experts in every field, yet we are deficient in morality and character. What we are lacking is not expertise; what we are lacking is character. And character must be taught. People must be trained to behave differently," Raymond Njume said.

He explained that the institution was established to train professionals across various fields on how to become ethical in their professions.

“I am very delighted that this is the second batch we are sending out. Among them are lawyers, journalists, municipal authorities, business executives, sports coaches, and those involved in building and construction”,

“The profile of participants shows that everybody in every domain is yearning to make a difference," he said. According to him, integrity means having the same life in private and in public.

He linked Cameroon's governance challenges to the abandonment of rigor and moralization. "That is why we even got to the point of being ranked twice as the most corrupt nation.

“People are not yearning for position; they are yearning for character. Not for visibility, but for credibility. Many of us are experts in the blame-shifting game. For us, we love and believe in Cameroon, and have taken responsibility to build a better nation," Raymond Njume added.

It should be noted Nation builders integrity mentoring is a subsidiary of I LOVE CAMEROON FOUNDATION. The program covered a duration of 8 weeks, with the following courses were covered: Integrity Definition and Overview, The Force And Power of Truth, Changing Your Paradigm, The God Factor of Integrity, Integrity Concepts in every sector, Personal Character Formation Self-Governance and Discipline, Ethical Decision-Making in Complex Environments, Servant Leadership and Responsibility, Case Studies and Practical Applications, Community Influence and Transformation, Emotional Intelligence and Human Relations, Vision, Purpose, and Goal Setting, Public Ethics and Civic Responsibility, Etc.

Reacting after receiving his certificate, one of the graduates, Chief Dr. Odirichukwu Ohaekelem Donatus, described the training as formidable and worthy of praise to God.

“Our mentor, Raymond Njume Njikang is a man to be reckoned with. He has all what it takes. He has integrity, he has the capacity, and he is a nation builder. We pray that God will give him all he needs to ensure the next integrity leaders will have enormous impact," Chief. Dr. Donatus said.

He said the mentorship has brought about character reformation that will guide his daily life. "It's a change of character, a reformation of character, which is very important for anyone who wants to grow.

Character is the best policy. It moves with honesty and truth. These work together to bring you up as an integrity icon," he added, while thanking God and his fellow Integrity Icons.

The founder disclosed that the program will be transgenerational, with intake for the third batch already underway, including an online phase made possible by the fundraising during the graduation.

Beyond professionals, the next phase targets secondary schools. "I have developed a module to train school prefects and class prefects. I was a class prefect and school prefect from Form 1 to Upper Sixth, but I realized prefects are given responsibility without training.

We will use 10 schools as a pilot phase within Fako Division and set up integrity clubs," he announced. He said the school project is timely, following cases of examination rigging and leaks recorded during the recent GCE.

“The students we have today will be presidents, mayors, ministers and engineers tomorrow. If they are trained with both intellectual ability and character formation, then Cameroon will have the sky as its stepping stone."
