Yaoundé: Student's Life Hangs in Balance after Stabbing Over 100 Francs

A violent altercation erupted at the University Institute of Matamfen in Tsinga, Yaoundé, Centre Region, resulting in one student stabbing another over a disputed 100 Francs CFA.
The incident occurred during a heated argument between the two students, who were engaged in a game of chance (Jambo).
According to eyewitnesses, the attacker, armed with scissors, demanded that the victim hand over the money, leading to a physical confrontation.
The situation rapidly escalated, culminating in the attacker inflicting a serious head wound on the victim.
Law enforcement officers promptly responded to the scene, but the attacker managed to evade capture and flee. A thorough investigation has been launched, and a manhunt is underway to apprehend the suspect.
Meanwhile, the victim is receiving medical attention for their injuries.
