The Cocoa & Coffee Festival is set to return to Yaoundé, Cameroon’s capital, from April 10-12, 2025, at the City Hall’s esplanade.
This annual event, organised by the Interprofessional Cocoa and Coffee Council (CICC), will showcase the best of Cameroon’s cocoa and coffee, with support from both local and international partners.
This year’s theme, “Cocoa and Coffee: Excellence with the Youth,” highlights the importance of involving young people in these key industries.
Over three days, the festival will feature a variety of events, including themed workshops, a conference, an exhibition fair, a New Generation forum, and ongoing tastings of cocoa and coffee products.
The Cocoa & Coffee Festival was established in 2024 following the merger of two earlier festivals Festicacao, dedicated to cocoa, and Festicoffee, focused on coffee. It has quickly become the leading public event in Central Africa celebrating these two sectors.
The festival not only highlights the many opportunities within Cameroon’s cocoa and coffee industries but also encourages local consumption of these products.
This year’s edition promises to continue the tradition of celebrating Cameroon’s rich agricultural heritage while fostering a deeper connection between the youth and the country’s thriving cocoa and coffee sectors.
