Yaounde fatal road accident leaves two dead

Two persons are reported dead following a fatal road accident that occurred on Saturday, September 13, 2025, in Olembé, Etoudi (Abattoir)

Yaounde.

According to report the accident occurred on the road leading from Etoudi to Olembé, near the road that passes by the slaughterhouse. 

The driver and a young passenger died instantly after their speeding vehicle hit a cow. The animal, meanwhile, drove off as if nothing had happened, we learned.

“This is not the first time such a tragedy has occurred on this road, known for the constant presence of herds of cows at all hours of the day. Many people have already lost their lives there due to accidents involving cattle ," Our source added.
