Yaounde: Employee allegedly stab boss over FCFA 50,000 unpaid debt

The manager of a soap manufacturing company in Yaoundé, Mbarga Manga Bertrand, has tragically died after allegedly being attacked and stabbed several times by his employee, Balla Eric.
The incident occurred on Sunday, June 29, 2025, in the Ekie neighborhood of Yaoundé, Centre Region, Cameroon.
According to findings, Balla, armed with a dagger, attacked his employer, Manga, while he was using the restroom on Sunday afternoon, stabbing him four times.
Reports suggest that Balla had been demanding payment of FCFA 50,000 from his boss. Manga was declared dead 40 minutes after arriving at the hospital.
