Wotutu-Ewongo inter-quarter grand finale slated Sunday, August 31

The two finalists of the 5th edition of the Wotutu-Ewongo football tournament are now known. This follows semifinals matches staged on Sunday, August 24 and Monday, August 25 respectively at the Catholic School Ewongo-Wotutu football field in Buea Subdivision, South West region, Cameroon.
Following the semifinals results, Mami Dinga shall face Ewongo in the final. Mami Dinga booked their ticket for the final after thrashing Ndobe Hill by 2 goals to 1 during the first semifinals game staged on Sunday, August 24,
On their part, Ewongo FC of HRM Edward Esimboe through penalties shootout dismissed Ngokes by 3goals to 1 after a 2 all tie during regular playing time during their semifinals confrontation played on Monday, August 25.
The final between Mami Dinga FC current cup holders and Ewongo FC shall take place on Sunday, August 31, 2025 at the Catholic School Ewongo football field in the presence of the vision bearer and communication guru Edwin Eselem at 2pm prompt.
It should be noted that the cash prize for this tournament is FCFA 1 million with medals, trophies and other amazing prizes.

About the Wotutu-Ewongo football tournament
The Wotutu-Ewongo Football is an annual football competition annual event organised by Edwin Eselem, a.k.a. EddyBobo, a SOBAN, Masters in Corporate Communications from UB, author of "From Wotutu To The World", and Communication Specialist who worked for Orange Cameroon, but is now incharge of the Public Relations and Communication now.
The tournament brings together the top football teams of the Wotutu-Ewongo villages in the Bonjongo court area during the holiday season.
The tournament was created out of the need to occupy the youth during their vacation but most importantly preach peace and social cohesion after the community was badly by the Anglophone crisis.
Now in its milestone fifth edition, the tournament uses the convening power of sports to change lives and uplift the community.
