Woman leaders across Africa to sharpen skills for 64th day of the African women fellowship

Woman leaders from across Africa and the diaspora are set to converge virtually this Friday, July 31, 2026, for the 64th Day of the African Woman Fellowship, aimed at building capacity, sharing experiences, and strengthening collective action. 

The event is organized by Target Peace by Amy Banda in partnership with She Thrives Global by Ambassador Edith ABUMBI. Date: Friday, July 31, 2026 time: 4:00pm.

According to organizers, the fellowship will serve as a platform to evaluate the journey and struggles of African “warrior women,” while encouraging collective action that uplifts, empowers, and strengthens one another. 

Speakers expected include: Queen Clarisse Douala BELL of “One Continent, Countless Queens”; Yeah Gladys Shang VIBAN, She Leads Africa; Adaora ONYECHERE SYDNEY-JACK,  Founder of Wewe Network Afrique, Nigeria; Lumbie Mlambo, CEO JB Dondolo, Zimbabwe; Dr. Karen Bruges, Global Chair of the Zero Hunger Mission; Barrister Beatrice ORJI, Programme Director, EBIE Divine Foundation; Nguty Stella Etoh-Nombo, Executive Director, DIBA Holistic Wellness Care; Cécile Thiakane, Senegal; Bongiwe Dlamini, CEO Blossom Bloom; and over 20 other women leaders from politics, media, health, business, faith, and civil society. The event will also feature 

AFRIQUEEN, a special segment honoring women across sectors championing change under the banner: “Crowned in Purpose. Moving with Power.”
