Winner of 8th Edition of Kamer Born Talent to Grab a Car

The winner of this year's Kamer Born Talent (KBT) will grab a car as a prize. This revelation was made by Ngwese Nzimbi Koge Bantu, also known as Bantu Freeman, the visionary behind Kamer Born Talent, during a press conference organised by the Nzimbi Cultural Center on Friday, May 30, 2025, at the Bamboo Event Center, Down Beach, Limbe. 

According to Ngwese Nzimbi, this unique six-week talent hub aims to identify and showcase young talents across Cameroon, emphasising that no nation can emerge without talent. 

"Kamer Born Talent is a community-driven initiative project that seeks out talents from the local community, nurtures them, and prepares them for international exposure," 

"We're trying to build a platform where young talents can be spotlighted, and a bigger promoter can take them to the next level in life, benefiting both their life and community." Ngwese Nzimbi said.

To make this possible, Nzimbi revealed that the national auditions will take place from June 15th to June 20th, followed by the grand launching on July 13th, and culminating in the grand finale on August 31st in Limbe.

The talent hunt will cover various categories, including singing, modeling, artistic exhibitions, makeup artistry, and Miss Kamer Born Talent, among others. 

Quizzed about the selection criteria, Nzimbi outlined that candidates must be from the Cameroon community, aged 5 and above, have guardian approval, and possess a unique talent. 

"After the grand launching in Limbe, Douala, Yaounde, and Kumba, all contestants from other zones will move to Limbe for a one-week Kamer Born Talent house, where they'll receive coaching on entrepreneurship, city cleanliness, and capacity-building workshops, among others," Nzimbi added.
