Victoria Club Election: Remembering Former Presidents

24 hours to the launch of campaigns for the office of President at the helm of Victoria Club, we take a deep dive into the personalities who once led the Club.

Described as men of mettle,their names remain references that cannot be easily blotted out.

As the race to the Victoria Club's top office enter high gear, both aspirants and members should recall the following past personalities who managed the Club to the best of their abilities; Mr. Tamajong Ndumu, Chief Hon.Emmanuel Manga,Dr. James David Agbor Abunaw,Hon. Namata Ewanga,Mr. Novia Lottin Jean,Mr Robert Captain Lyonga, Mr. Daniel MMen Iyok,Chief Henry Njalla Quan,Mr Defang Agbor Peter to name but these and not leaving out the immediate past president Barrister Valentine Forchak ( who did two successful terms) thanks to his members wellbeing style of Club management.

While the official date for the election of new Bureau has been fixed for April 10,2026, campaigns shall officially be announced on Friday April 3, 2026.

So far Dr. Joki Manga and Mayor Nseke Luma are the main contestants, though at press time there is a hint of a possible third aspirant come Friday.
