TAKAD president Hercules Nse Souala launches CEMAC tour, calls for African unity and excellence

The President of TAKAD International, Hercules Nse Souala, has begun his CEMAC Tour in Cameroon, accompanied by Honorary President Queen ETEME. The tour kicked off on the program "Suellaba Feeling" where he called on Africans to remain focused, united, and results-oriented.

In an exclusive interview with Senior Reporter and Africa’s award-winning journalist Amy BANDA, President Souala explained why celebrating African excellence matters.

"Celebrating African excellence corrects historical imbalances, inspires future generations, and showcases the continent's profound ongoing contributions to global innovation, culture, leadership, and economic growth," he said.

He noted that this vision shifts the global narrative from one focused on hardship to one defined by resilience, creativity, and boundless potential.

"It rewrites the narrative and challenges stereotypes. We are ready to move global perception past outdated, deficit-based stories about the continent and honor true history*," he added.

Honoring African icons

President Souala announced that the upcoming Focus Magazine will salute 100 personalities making Africa Great Again.

He particularly acknowledged the sacrifices of Samuel Eto'o Fils, who recently returned from Morocco with the WAFCON title holders.

"Eto'o is a legendary figure. We celebrated him at TAKAD 6 in Côte d'Ivoire, and I invite Cameroonians to show him love," he said.

High-level engagements in Littoral

On day one of the tour, the TAKAD delegation met with several leaders:

- Olivier Kingue Molli, Acting Regional Director of CRTV Littoral and CEO of Forum Economique, who promised a deep economic conversation before Souala departs for Equatorial Guinea.

-Lynda NOUTCHA*, Station Manager of CRTV Metro, CRTV Sports and Entertainment, who hosted the President and Queen ETEME. The Honorary President promised a private concert for her.

- Samuel Dieudonne Ivaha Diboua, Governor of the Littoral Region, who saluted the "unique and continental endeavour."

-Clement Tchoante, Publisher of Challenge International, who had a chat with the President of Gabon thanks to the TAKAD President.

- Lassane Oulare, Vice President from Côte d'Ivoire, who expressed excitement to be in Cameroon.

Inspiring the next generation

President Souala said TAKAD’s mission is to provide role models and give young Africans tangible proof of success in diverse sectors.

The CEMAC tour continues on Day 2 with stops at Dash TV and DBS. A meet-and-greet on Saturday will focus on: Fostering confidence and encouraging youth to build bold solutions with pride in their heritage.

Driving economic and social progress by highlighting leaders who elevate entire industries.

Strengthening African unity by connecting the continent and its diaspora through shared achievement.
