Lovelab foundation puts smiles on children’s faces in Mabeta New Layout with back-to school donation

A non-profit organisation known as Lovelab foundation on Saturday, September 5, 2026, carried out its "Back-to-School Giving to the Needy" outreach in Mabeta New Layout, Limbe I Subdivision, putting smiles on over 100 underprivileged children as the new school year begins.

The humanitarian exercise saw children from needy families receive school bags, books and other essential school supplies to enable them to resume classes with dignity and confidence.

The initiative, led by the Foundation, is part of its annual commitment to ensure no child is left behind due to lack of school materials.

The foundation of Lovelab founded by Dylis Ken Chi was represented by Besseck Mercy, the donation is anchored on three pillars: Putting Smiles on Children's Faces, Donating School Supplies, and Supporting Needy Families, in line with its theme "Together We Can Make Education Possible For Every Child – Love in Action."

Beneficiary parents in Mabeta New Layout expressed gratitude Lovelab foundation for the timely support, noting that the gesture comes at a time when many families are struggling to meet back-to-school demands due to economic hardship.

Ngo Besseck reaffirmed its commitment to continue supporting vulnerable children and families across communities, while calling on partners and well-wishers to join hands in expanding the outreach to more localities.

On his part, the quarter head of Upper Mabeta New Layout, Keh Kelvin, lauded Lovelab foundation for the gesture for choosing his quarter for the back-to-school outreach.

He noted that the donation came at the right time when many parents are struggling to provide basic school needs for their children, and described the act as a true demonstration of love for the community.

He called on other organizations to emulate the example of Lovelab foundation in supporting education and uplifting underprivileged families in the community.
