The Minister of Finance, His Excellency Louis Paul Motaze, has granted an audience to the International Organising Committee of TAKAD.

The delegation was led by the Vice-President of the Committee, Mr. Lassane Oularé, accompanied by the President of the Cameroon Organising Committee, Ms. Yolande Bodiong.

The courtesy visit was to officially present the 2026 edition of TAKAD, the pan-African platform of excellence that annually brings together stakeholders in development, culture, economy and innovation.

The 2026 edition is scheduled for December 19, 2026, in Libreville, Gabon, with Cameroon as co-organising country.

During the audience, which was held in a cordial atmosphere, Minister Motaze congratulated the delegation on the quality and ambition of the project and offered strategic advice for the successful mobilisation of Cameroonian stakeholders.

The Minister also seized the opportunity of the presence of Mr. Oularé, an Ivorian national, to extend fraternal greetings to Côte d'Ivoire, which he described affectionately as a "beautiful family."

For the TAKAD International Organising Committee, the audience marks a key milestone in its mission to rally Cameroon around TAKAD 2026.
