Shocking: Bonaberi prophet's faith-based decision costs wife's life

A self-proclaimed prophet and man of God has been apprehended by law enforcement authorities for allegedly permitting his wife to succumb to illness in their residence, rather than seeking medical attention for her.

The disturbing incident transpired at "Entre Sierecam" in Bonaberi, within the Douala IV Subdivision of the Littoral region.

According to eyewitness accounts, the incident happened recently. The prophet, steadfast in his faith, declined to transport his ailing spouse to a nearby medical facility, situated directly beneath their apartment. Instead, he purportedly recited religious incantations, convinced that divine intervention would facilitate her recovery.

A separate source alleges that the man concealed his wife's lifeless body within their domicile.

The putrid odor emanating from the decomposing corpse ultimately alerted neighbors, who promptly notified the authorities.

A graphic video, widely disseminated on social media platforms, captures the anguished reactions of neighbors and purported family members as law enforcement officials removed the deceased woman's body and subsequently took the self-proclaimed prophet into custody.
