The Divisional Delegate for Secondary Education for Fako Dr. Njie Martin Esongo has issued a press release prohibiting Saturday classes in Fako Division.
According to a press release, signed on Tuesday October 26, 2021 which has been sent out to all principals and proprietors by Dr. NJie Martin demanded a stop of Saturday Classes.
“The Minister of Secondary Education, Nalova Lyonga Pauline stance on this issue has not changed as no clearance has been received from hierarchy authorising the holding of Saturday Classes.

Hence, the organisation of such classes in Fako Division as is already the case with some schools especially those of the lay private extraction is formally proscribed except hierarchy gives contrary instructions” The press release revealed.
Alternatively, Principals/proprietors are encourage to organise online classes in order to fill the pedagogic gap created by the advent of Covid-19 Pandemic and the socio-political crisis rocking the North West and South West Region of Cameroon.
