Rebecca Enonchong appointed Vice-President of the International Chamber of Commerce

Cameroonian entrepreneur, Rebecca Enonchong, has been appointed Vice-President of the International Chamber of Commerce ( ICC).


She makes history by becoming the first African woman to hold this position. Prior to her appointment, Rebecca Enonchong served on the ICC's executive board for the past four years.


During this period, she focused on representing the interests of African businesses, small and medium-sized enterprises, and the digital technology sector. The activist's appointment sparked hope and reaction in Cameroon.


The International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) is the world's largest business organization. Founded in 1919 and headquartered in Paris, it represents more than 45 million businesses in 170 countries.


Its role is to promote global trade, advocate for the interests of businesses before international institutions, and facilitate international exchange.
