The Ministry of Public Health in collaboration with the Association of scientific journalists and communicators for promotion of health, AJC Africa, CDC and Expanded vaccination program ( PEV) has launched the 1st edition of the convid-19 media awards. This information is contained in a press release signed by the minister of public health Dr Manaouda Malachie recently.
Media men and women are here by invited to apply for the various categories of prizes to be won. 10 prizes will be awarded for this edition. They include:
The 1st and 2nd prize for the press.
The will be 1st and 2nd prise Tv.
1st and 2nd prize for radio
and 1st and 2nd prize for best influncer.
Candidates are required to have the following criteria; The journalists should work in a media or freelance.
Produce and broadcast 02 reports of 3 minutes or a program ( TV and radio). 2 articles of 6000 signs ( written press), 3000 signs ( digital press). A post of at least 1000 characters ( influencers). On the themes: Vaccination against convid-19 or Investigation in to the seroprevalence of convid-19 in Cameroon. Choosing any journalistic style and language ( French, English, foufoulde and pigin).
Applicants have till the 21st of August 2021 to send their media productions to the following addresses; concourseroprevalence@gmail.com.
It should be reminded that this is one of the measures put in place by the Government to combat this deadly virus in the country.
