Professor Eric Mulumba Zozo, PhD, is an accomplished economist, political scientist, and advocate for human capital development with a career spanning the African, American, Asian, and European continents.

He has fostered the positive growth and societal integration of many scholars through the transfer of knowledge in higher education institutions, such as universities and interdisciplinary partnerships that foster inclusive development in developing and developed countries.

However, this only represents one facet of Prof. Mulumba Zozo’s multipotent work, as he is also a forward-thinking entrepreneur and key investor in the progress of society.

Co-owner of the Centre Henri Pieron medical centers, he is making waves in Cameroon through his leadership by combining academic excellence with practical, community-based healthcare delivery, anchoring a model that integrates science, compassion, and social progress.

With three branches located in Yaounde, Manassa, and Makenene, respectively, the Centre Henri Pieron medical centers stand as fully integrated medical and psychological facilities offering a remarkable array of health services.

The centers are equipped with state of the art medical equipment, including advanced medical scanners and a diagnostic laboratory, and have a diverse clinical staff known for their effectiveness in managing a wide scope of patient needs.

Prof. Mulumba Zozo’s service at the helm of the Centre Henri Pieron medical centers has positively impacted the lives of many patients and is a testament to how his entrepreneurial instincts are always guided by a pragmatic approach, aiming to find practical and effective solutions responding to societal needs.

By combining his expertise with real-world initiatives like the Centre Henri Pieron medical centers, He is not only redefining what it means to be a scholar, a healer, and a changemaker on both the local and global stage, but also playing a pioneering role for present and future generations of professionals.

In fact, the Centre Henri Pieron medical centers are only one of the many ventures constituting his multifaceted contributions to human capital development worldwide.

A seasoned administrator and consultant, Prof. Mulumba Zozo is actively engaged with a number of institutions across Europe, Africa, and the United States.

He is a valued contributing member of the American Economic Association, serves as an administrator of Well-Being for All (Bien-Être Pour Tous), a development-focused organization based in Belgium and sub-Saharan Africa, and leads as Executive Director of the American Institute for Interdisciplinary Research(AIIR).

Headquartered in the United States, AIIR operates with a mission to bridge the gap between academic research and action on the ground in order to link academic research and community involvement to better promote people's wellbeing.

As such, he uses his experience as an accomplished researcher to lead initiatives that promote STEM (science, technology, engineering, and mathematics) education, interdisciplinary research, and talent development globally.

Therefore, whether serving as a franchise owner contributing to patients’ wellbeing as well as the advancement of medicine in Africa, or as consultant conducting community-based training and research programs in America, his approach is consistently people-centered.

The work he has done and continues to endeavor to do reflects the heart of his mission, which is colored by the belief that healthcare, research, education, and policy must work in tandem to foster equitable development.
