Prince Lyonga Ngombe partners with NAERHES foundation to donate back-to-school didactics in Bova, Ewonda

Prince Lyonga Ngombe a native of Ewonda village and a grandson of Bova (Wonduka) on Friday, August 28, 2026, partnered with NAERHES Foundation carried out the 6th edition of its act of kindness reachout to over 200 children in Bova and Ewonda (Wonduka) villages, Buea Subdivision. 

The humanitarian outreach, which focuses on ensuring no child is left out of school, is sponsored by Prince Lyonga Ngombe, an indigene of Ewonda village and grandson of Bova.

Now in its sixth year, Prince Lyonga's Back-to-School project through the NAERHES Foundation has become an annual tradition of putting smiles on the faces of children in his home communities. 

For this year's edition, pupils in Bova and Ewonda received, school bags, exercise books, pens, pencils and rulers 

Beyond the back-to-school campaign, the Foundation said its “Act of Kindness Reachout" is a broader humanitarian program built on five pillars: Philanthropic Assistance, education support, 

health education, economic empowerment and  

peace education.

The Foundation reiterated its commitment to “Changing lives through education, Inspiring hope for a brighter future, and ensuring every child deserves a chance to learn."

The outreach is being described by beneficiaries as timely, as parents in the two villages struggle to prepare their children for the 2026/2027 school year.

Speaking during the double event, the Founder of NAERHES Foundation, Naene Christina, said: "We have the children in mind. So, we search for sponsors who wish to reach out to children in their various communities to create impact." 

She expressed appreciation to the sponsor, Prince Lyonga Ngombe, for encouraging education in his community and for trusting NAERHES Foundation for its integrity. 

 On behalf of parents, Prince Ekome Managa applauded the sponsor's initiative, noting that it has reduced the financial burden on parents as the school year approaches. He urged the children to take their studies seriously.
