Barely few hours to the official launching of October 12 presidential campaign in Cameroon, the President of the Cameroon People’s Democratic Movement (CPDM), President Paul Biya has officially unveiled his manifesto with slogan “Greatness and Hope” for his 8th term mandate. Below is his manifesto it reads;

My Fellow Compatriots,

For many years, you have constantly renewed your trust in me. CPDM Cyber Campaign Cell Thanks to you, I have the honor and privilege of serving Cameroon as President of the Republic.

Believe me, I always carry out this exalting task with self-denial, dedication, and passion. Together, we have overcome many trials and celebrated great victories.

The challenges we have taken up, particularly over the last seven years, have enabled our country to face up, to resist, to remain on its feet, and to move forward.

Despite an unstable global environment and persistent constraints, we have stayed the course towards emergence.

We have continuously worked to improve the well-being and living standards of each and every one of you, while consolidating peace, national unity, living together, and our territorial integrity.

My Fellow Compatriots, Notwithstanding the achievements, expectations remain. And, rest assured, I hear you. As I have said before: "As long as a Cameroonian does not have enough to eat, does not have access to education, does not receive the health care he or she is entitled to, our task will not be complete.

Therefore, drawing on our shared experience, we must continue and, above all, speed up the implementation of the major projects we have embarked on to meet everyone's expectations for a brighter future.

CPDM in a nutshell, as part of the measures I shall take, and which I hereby present as a manifesto, I invite us all to unite our efforts and our common resolve to write together a new chapter in the beautiful history of our dear and beloved country.
