In a new twist, the daughter of the President of the Republic of Cameroon, Brenda Biya in a live broadcast on social media has changed her mind and said she acted in anger to her previous live broadcast on social media calling on Cameroonians not to vote his father.
It's a turnaround. Brenda Biya, is making a mea culpa. In a video circulating online, she asks for forgiveness and says she acted in anger. " I know absolutely nothing about politics. Don't follow my advice because I know nothing about it," she maintains.
"I'll tell you what I really think. Everyone knows that I've always admired my father's intellect. At the same time, I've always wanted my mother's heart. I don't want to add fuel to the fire or dig myself in deeper.
If one day there's a change and things change, later on, people will realise that, in fact, their president was truly a gem. At the end of the day, I think my father is a great man, I think he's a good, excellent candidate...", Brenda Biya continues.
She denounced the mistreatment she claims to have suffered and spoke of abandonment by those close to her and denounced abuse allegedly coming from her own family.
The denunciations of her personal situation suddenly took a more political turn, and the 27-year-old declared: " Don't vote for Paul Biya”,
“He has made many people suffer, including his own family. I hope we have another president.”
