The new Senior Divisional Officer (SDO) for Bui Division, North West Region, Gilbert Meyong has been installed into his new post by the North West Governor, Adolphe Lele Lafrique
According to the NW Governor, Adolphe Lele Lafrique, Gilbert Meyong takes over a division that has been described as the epicenter of the current socio-political crisis rocking the North West Region.
“The Bui Division is blessed with potentials but unfortunate, the development of the division has been retarded by the ongoing crisis” Lele lamented.
Some of the elites of the division has expressed their thoughts as they see the installation of their new SDO, Gilbert Meyong
to work for the interest of the division, and to foster peace which is their pre-concern.

Gilbert Meyong has assured the people of his deligence and competency as he assumes powers to lead, despite all odds.
It should be noted that Gilbert Meyong who was previous Divisional officer of Kumbo Central, takes over from Harry Lanui who has moved to the West as SDO of Upper plateau Division.
