MTN Cameroon has officially launched the Limbe-based AURA Foundation digital center. The colorful ceremony was held on Saturday, June 21, 2025, at Isokolo, Limbe, Fako Division, Cameroon, in the presence of the South West and Moungo Regional Sales Manager, Ngwa Albert.

The AURA Foundation emerged as the winner in the South West region for a digital center donated by MTN Cameroon after competing with three other community organisations in the South West.

The Executive Director of AURA Foundation, Adama Anyawoh, expressed satisfaction, stating that the digital center would help reduce her printing costs. "We use at least CFA 3,000 every day for printing. The center is open to the community for proper and efficient use”,

“I am truly blessed to receive this digital center because AURA Foundation has one of its activities every July and August known as the Kids Talent Workshop, which brings together 70 children. Thanks to MTN Cameroon, we now have computers to teach these children computer coding," Adama Anyawoh said.

A total of 15 computers, installation of internet connection for one year, and a multipurpose printer were donated.

It is worth noting that as part of the 21 Days of Y'ellow Care, staff of MTN Cameroon in the South West Region had paid a working visit to the Limbe-based AURA Foundation.

The objective of the visit was to carry out environmental cleaning activities around the structure, which won the Digital Centre Competition for the South West Region.

The activities carried out by the team included tree and flower planting, a significant action that characterised the day's visit, as it will beautify and clean up the environment for future generations to use.

Madam Fonbah Enestin Afor, leading the team for the South West, expected the population of Limbe to continue keeping the environment and entire city of Limbe clean so it can restore its former glory as the cleanest town in Cameroon.

"We are participating to make Limbe great again by cleaning it up, and we expect the community to continue to keep it clean and be part of this initiative by using the digital center," she said.

The aim of the visit to clean the surroundings of the foundation was in preparation for the launch of the digital center on Saturday, June 21, 2024, which would be equipped with computers, printers, and other essential facilities.
