As part of MTN's 25th anniversary celebrations in Cameroon MTN Cameroon on Friday, 21, 2025 organised a Labour Medal award ceremony in Douala to honour it staff.
The event was presided over by the Minister of Labour and Social Security, Mr. Grégoire Owona, accompanied by the Governor of the Littoral Region, Mr. Samuel Dieudonné Ivaha among others.
During the ceremony, about 290 employees were honoured with 164 vermeil, 113 silver, and 13 gold medals, based on their tenure within the company.
It should be noted that the General Manager of Human Resources, Evangeline Biboum championed the organisation which was placed under the patronage of MTN CEO Mitwa Ng'ambi.
The ceremony celebrated the exemplary service of MTN Cameroon staff who have been committed over the past 25 years, to drive inclusive digital solutions for Cameroon’s progress.
