Morocco recognises Samuel Eto'o as visionary leader

The President of the Cameroonian Football Federation, Samuel Eto'o Fils, was recognised and elevated to the status of visionary leader in football-related matters by the Association for the Progress of Moroccan Leaders. 

The ceremony, held on Friday, April 18, 2025, brought together prominent figures from the Kingdom of Morocco. 

Morocco's tradition of honoring leadership, resilience, perseverance, innovation, and natural charisma is reflected in the image of King Mohamed VI. 

By recognising Samuel Eto'o, Morocco aimed to highlight a prominent figure from the continent who has consistently supported African emergence. 

As the host of the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations, Morocco's recognition of Samuel Eto'o underscores his contributions to football.
