Monde: Chief convenes strategic meeting for June 15

The Chief of Monde in Buea Subdivision, HRM Kwami Beckley Nangoh has announced a crucial meeting for Monday, June 15, 2026.

Through a social media post the traditional authority extended a public invitation to stakeholders.

The meeting, scheduled to take place at the Cultural Centre in Buea, is expected to bring together representatives from various farming and social groups namely; Bakweri Youth Association (BAYA), Molongo, Fako Women N'endinge (FAWONE), Wana Wa Ndolo and Monde CIG farmers.

Local leaders, including those of the muslim community in Monde, the chair of the council of notables, the traditional council chair, and that of the development association, were equally extended an invitation.

Even though the agenda remained undisclosed, the gathering comes weeks after a donation of a consignment of maize seeds to farmers and community members by Chief of Nangoh.

Monde has since the coming of rains signalling the rainy season become a beehive of farming activities.
