Quarter Council members of Mokeba Farms in Limbe I Subdivision, Fako Division, headed by their Quarter Head, Teke George, rallied themselves at Limbe I Council Bota on Tuesday, November 18, 2025, to appreciate Mayor Mbwaye Eposi Florence for her efforts to develop their quarter.

Speaking during the brief event, the Head of the Mokeba Farms Traditional Council, Sammie Njoh Ndeley, appreciated Mayor Mbwaye for what she has been doing in their quarter for over 5 years now.

He urged her not to relent in her efforts to make Mokeba Farms the most cherished quarter in Limbe I Municipality.

In his intervention, the Quarter Head of Mokeba Farms, Teke George, said that since the creation of the Mokeba Farms Traditional Council by the Paramount Chief of Limbe, HRM Elufa John Manga Williams, in 2018, Mayor Mbwaye has been supporting the quarter in areas like borehole projects and street lighting, among other developmental projects.

Like Oliver Twist, he pleaded with the Mayor to assist them in the domain of road infrastructure, among other things.

Reacting shortly after the event, Mayor Mbwaye Eposi Florence expressed joy that the Mokeba Farms Traditional Council could appreciate the efforts she has been making in their quarter for the past 5 years.

"This is the only quarter where I see unity between the quarter people and my councillors. I have never seen it in another quarter," she said.

She assured the councillors of Mokeba Farms that their selected projects are already on her table and are in the pipeline. "I will not relent in my efforts to give Mokeba Farms the place of pride.

In the domain of elections coming up next year in February, hear her: elections are coming next year. It’s not Paul Biya’s election; it’s an individual election,"

"So, if you are voting for CPDM next year, don’t regret voting for me. I want us to have continuity so I can do more developments in your quarter."

At the end of the event, Mokeba Farms Quarter Councillors presented Mayor Mbwaye with a gift of appreciation for their love.
