Mofor Eric is the pioneer commissioner in charge for Fako Divisional Agency for Human Rights International. He was installed in Limbe on Saturday December 4, 2021 by the National President of the Defense of Human Rights International Hekeu-Luc Ibwle.
He has been instructed to fight against illegal trade, ports and protect the common man in the street.
The National President reminded him and his team of the herculean task ahead of them, with the mission to fight for the effective protection of the rights of Cameroonians.
Hekel- Luc tasked the Divisional commissioner to fight against ills such as the illegal importation and sales of contraband goods such as fuel, fake drugs amongst others.
It worth nothing that the Fako Division is currently being plegue by the influx of illegal trade due to its geogaphical nature especially with porous martime boarders to neighboring countries like Nigeria, Equitorial guinea as well as several illegal ports.
The national President also challenged Mofor Eric and his team to work in closed collaboration with the Administration, forces of Law and Order to ensure effective protection of the rights of people especially those brought before the law.
Mofor was equally empowered to work in closed collaboration with the court, prison department as well as the local population to guarantee the rights of the common man in the street.
The Fako Divisional commissioner was installed alongside some 18 staff who will work together for the success of the mission.
Amongst them was the Secretary General Schangwe Catherine. During the installation they were all decorated with their staff initial that will be used as indentification when they go out for field work.
Speaking shortly after the installation ceremony, the Fako Divisional commissioner, Mofor expressed satisfaction and readiness to meet up with the task assign to him and his team.
