The vision and mission of Meveo Culture and Development Assembly (MEVCUDA) has been echoed over and again by its founder, HRM Ndiko Fonderson Henry on promoting Peace and Sustainable Development on the patriotic need to celebrate the rich cultural diversity and integration in Fako, South West, Region Cameroon.
This diversity is held in high esteem, as symbol of the different tribes of people that live together peacefully in Cameroon.
Cultural diversity and integration well, of the great population from friendly countries like Nigeria, Ghana, Benin, Togo among others who also live together with Cameroonians, and happily exercising their diverse culture in peace and harmony, while carrying out gainful economic activities for their wellbeing.
The display of various dance groups like Male, Oroko, Bakossi, among others in Cameroon couple with the foreign dance groups has gone a long way to portray this vision and mission of celebrating cultural diversity and integration in all the past 11th editions of MEVCUDA.
The diversity in the dance styles, songs, costuming and drumbeats form the euphoria and fanfare that makes MEVCUDA outstanding as a life-enhancing, entertaining and attraction, for thousands of people who usually crowd the festival village at Ombe Eneo Centre.
This year’s 12th edition of the festival, the cultural diversity in the traditional dances from the ten regions of Cameroon and the friendly countries remain a focal attraction not to miss.
