The mortal remains of Princess Lucy Limunga Fonderson, the junior sister of HRM Chief Ndiko Fonderson Henry, National Coordinator of Meveo Cultural and Development Assembly (MEVCUDA) and Chief of Lower Meveo village, was laid to rest on Saturday, October 4, 2025, at Lower Meveo Newlayout-Ombe in Limbe I Subdivision, Fako Division, South West Region

Speaking during the service, Rev. Ekema Monjimbo captioned his message “You can’t escape from God judgment”. With scripture reading from Hebrew 9:27.

The man of God told the mourners that God is close to the broken hearted. He urged them not to wait for trouble days before they can give their life to Christ which will be too late.

Rev. Ekema Monjimbo told the mourners to live their live worthy of their calling as Christians and be ready to meet their creator whenever he comes knocking.

“Death is an appointment that cause people to cry, bring sorrow. As long as Jesus Christ hasn’t returned back, me and you will someday, somehow will be appointed.” Rev. Ekema Monjimbo said.

Tributes to Princess Lucy Limunga Fonderson

HRH Ndiko FONDERSON said, “Dear Lucy Limunga FONDERSON, You were my sister, my mother, my wife, my daughter. What did I not do for you? Tell me what we did not do to preserve your life?”,

“Please tell me where are you going? We love you, but God wants you now. Rest in perfect peace and be assured. Rest in peace, I say!”.

His son Wilfred Ngalie Fonderson said, “Mum, words cannot tell how I feel at this moment because I don't know how to express myself, but I keep asking myself if life is a gift that can just be taken away anytime by its giver without notice, because your departure made me feel that way”,

“But at the end, I don't consider life to be a gift because it's still going to be taken away from us. I feel discouraged, but I won't say much”,

“I can only promise you that, by God's grace, I'm going to please you by being a smart, successful, hardworking, organized, and straightforward person in life.”

On his part, his brother Charles Kalla Fonderson said, “Dear Mum, I really don't know where to start. I am a testimony of your health challenges, as we have lived under the same roof both in and out of Cameroon for over the past 10 years”,

“While we were both rejoicing that your health was becoming stable, the cold hands of death came and stole you away from us. Rest on, Mum, until we met again.”
