Mbai Ephraim is new Fako IB section President, incumbent petitions results

It a dawn of a new era in Camerooon Democratic Movement, CPDM, Fako IB as the first assistant Mayor for Limbe II Muncipality. Mbai Epharaim emerged winner for the post of Section President of Fako I B. He has a total of 915 votes, while Likowo Ngomba Anna won for WCPDM with 479 votes and YCPDM Ndumbe Jame Ngombe 519 votes.


Inside sources says the incumbent President Ngale Ngomba Eric has filed in petition for fraud, according to information gathered, Ngale Ngomba list was rejected for not corresponding to the norms of the constitution but was not informed to readjust, to his dismay on the day of the election his list was not published. All attempts to reach him on phone to sample his reaction was futile.


A source however said, he is planning a lawsuit for the electoral commission to explain to him their hidden agenda for such an act.


Speaking shortly after the election, Iluke Mbai Ephraim said, they will continue to work together as a team to make C.P.D.M in Limbe II and Fako IB to be more stronger to face the future challenges, he emphasised that his immediate priority is to reunite all militants of Fako IB so they should prepare a solid foundation.


Quizzed what he will change as the new section President, he said, he will use his experience he had in other social groups to ensure that every militant stand behind the grate party. He however assured the militants to have confidence in him as they have always work as a team.


On his part, the newly elected YCPDM section President Ndumbe James expressed joy for the confidence that has been given to him by the party youths, which he opined all came as a result of what he has been doing for the youths away from the party.


He however appreciated the youths for the trust and promised to give them all his best to them, he emphasised that the victory is not a surprise to him, because he is the President of the Cameroon National Youth Council for Limbe II Subdivision and equally the President of the Bakweri Youths in Limbe, he promised to work in synergy with his executive for the success of the party in upcoming challenges.


The campaign winning team head, Mayor Woka Ndive Ngale I expressed happiness and satisfaction, he opined that the population needed the change.


He regretted that, people spent time blackmailing, petitioning instead of campaigning for themselves, he opined that the election is over, they should come back as a family as they are bigger challenge ahead of them with opposition parties.


“It’s just an advice to the population of Limbe II to understand that politics is to build your popularity positively from the way you live with the population on a daily life, not only the day of the market that you need to feed your chicken” Mayor Woka Ndive stated.


Quizzed why he decided to campaign for the winning list, he explained that it is because of social responsibility, commitment to the population, intention for development and accountability he saw in them. He however urged the newly elected section presidents and militants to be more united and work for the interest of the population.
