Mayor Mbwaye Eposi communes with widows, widowers on New Year’s Day

The Mayor for Limbe I Council who doubles as Congregational chairperson of Presbyterian Church Bonadikombo Mile 4, Mbwaye Eposi Florence demonstrated solidarity with widows in the municipality on Thursday, January 1, 2026 during a special service at Presbyterian Church Bonadikombo, Mile 4, Limbe. She handed financial support to over 50 widows and widowers.


Mayor Mbwaye Eposi is known for giving generously to the widows and widowers at different points in time be it back-to-school period and during International Widows Day.


In her remarks she said she is very much aware of what the widows go through on a daily basis adding that he will always continue to show solidarity towards them.


Mbwuye Eposi reminded the widows that she shares several concerns with the widows and widowers adding that in the future more support shall be made available in different forms.


"I pray to do better next year, especially with the availability of means. Trust me, with God almighty, I shall put smiles on more faces next edition." Mayor Mbwaye Eposi added.


She urged beneficiaries to have faith in God and know that God take care of widows and widowers.


On his part, Rev. Dr. Akih Abraham applauded the Congregational Chairperson for thinking of the widows and widowers during the New Year.


"These are groups of people who go through a lot with children their husbands and wives have left. So to see them also happy on New Year Day is a lovely initiative." Rev. Dr. Akih Abraham said.


Political pundits believe Mayor Mbwaye Eposi is the right person for the top job in Limbe I Council next year’s municipal election in the country following her remarkable works she has done.
