LOJOVIL Company December tourney: Back-to-Back FC Mile 4 clinches maiden edition

Back-to-Back FC Mile 4, Limbe, are the champions of the maiden edition of the LOJOVIL Company December Football tournament.
They grabbed the trophy on Sunday, December 21, 2025, at Catholic School Field Bonadikombo Mile 4, Limbe, after beating GTC Isokolo FC 4:3 in a penalty shootout. The match kicked off at 3:30 pm, with both teams missing opportunities to claim the trophy, resulting in a penalty shootout.
Speaking earlier before the final, the cup donor, Louga Victor Bibila, said the crowd-puller December football extravaganza was dedicated to promoting healthy competition, teamwork, and sportsmanship among talented players from Bonandikombo, in particular, and Limbe at large.
He added that it had spurred him to action and he was already beginning preparations for the second edition in 2026. The first edition of the LOJOVIL Company Ltd December Football Tournament, 2025, featured 12 teams drawn from Limbe, Buea, and Ekona, paired into two pools of six each.
The tournament, tagged “Unity is strength”, ran from Sunday, November 9, 2025. At the end of the preliminary stage, the top four teams qualified for the quarterfinals, then the semifinals, and, today, the much-anticipated final.

The champions, Back-to-Back FC Mile 4, went home with a whopping sum of FCFA 2 million, medals, and a trophy. The 1st runner-up, GTC Isokolo FC, grabbed FCFA 1 million, a trophy, and medals, and the quarterfinalists received FCFA 500,000 and a trophy.

Nji Helene of Brother’s Keeper FC emerged Best player, Muckla Gireses of Back-to-Back FC won highest goal scorer, Mark-Elvis of GTC Isokolo was voted man of the match, Maxwell Nemba of Brother’s Keeper FC was best coach, Ngonbaa FC emerged best-discipline team, and John Efufa of GTC Isokolo was voted most-discipline player.
The LOJOVIL Company Ltd December Football Tournament serves as a platform for economic boost and revitalisation in Bonadikombo, as small businesses took advantage of the huge crowds witnessed during each game day to market and sell their products and goods.
Louga Victor said, “As we look forward to the second edition in 2026, I want to sincerely apologize to all the teams that indicated their interest in participating in this first edition but were unable to due to time constraints”,
“Rest assured that your interest will be considered next year, as we plan to begin registration for the second edition as early as September to give all those who wish to participate the opportunity.”
He appreciated the Fako administration, especially the Divisional Officer of Limbe I, Moni Innocent Nanje, Limbe City Mayor, Paul Efome L.M Ngale, Second Assistant City Mayor, Kouontchou Emmanuel, the General Manager of SONARA, El Hadj Bako Arouna, Parish Priest of Saint John of God Parish, Bonadikombo, the management of Victoria Customs Cooperative Credit Union Ltd, Union Bank of Cameroon, Commercial Bank of Cameroon (CBC), the Commissioner of the 4th District Police Station, Bonadikombo, and the general population of Bonadikombo Mile 4 for their unwavering support towards the successful maiden edition.
In his intervention, the Divisional Officer for Limbe I, Innocent Moni Nanje, appreciated the donor and organizing committee members for a timely tournament, which kicked off immediately after the presidential election to distract youths from post-election violence.
He urged the donor not to relent in his efforts to start preparing for the second edition.
Innocent Moni is optimistic that the second edition will be bigger and better.
The final attracted key football personalities of Cameroon, including Ndip Akem Victor, goalkeeper Peter Bechem, coach Edwin Teteh, fitness trainer of the Indomitable Lionesses of Cameroon, coach Awolos Moto, and goalkeeper trainer of the under-17 Lions of Cameroon.
