Limbe taxi drivers are currently on strike over illegal Police control at each spot of the municipality. According to the Vice Regional President of SYNTRACAM Menchen Phillip said this is the second strike action they decided to engage, to send a strong signal to Fako adminstration. Menchen explained that, it is over three months they have been witnessing this situation in Limbe.
It should be noted that, KNews reported same strike last Saturday August 7, 2021. Where by two taxi drivers were arrested and taken to Limbe Central Police station over brawl with the Police officers and we’re later released.
