Limbe says good night to former LIFCA president Tchio Thomas

The remains of former Limbe Football Club Association, LIFCA, president Tchio Thomas was on Saturday November 12, 2022 interred at Bamenkombo, Mbouda in the West Region of Cameroon.

During the funeral mass at St. Pius X mission Bota Limbe, the officiating priest Fr. Peter Namongo drawing his inspiration from Daniel 12:1-3 consoled the mourners that, none of us live to him or himself and none of us died to himself or herself. He added that if we live, we live for the Lord and if we died we die for the Lord.

“Michael shall arise to call all those whose names are written in the book of life. To have your name written in the book of life means you have repented from your sins and accepted Jesus Christ as your personal Savior and Lord before your physical death”,

“You must be born again. To be born again means you die to your old self and allow the Holy Spirit to lead and guide you into a new creation”. Fr. Namongo told the mourners.

He added that God looks at our heart, not our outwardly behavior. God cannot be mocked.

TCHIO THOMAS was born on June 05, 1963 in Mbouda from the late Fokou Moise and Tsanou Lydie

Distinctions: Knight of the Order of Value Sporting activities: Handball player in the Lycée de Mbouda team.

1997-2000: Vice-President Victoria United (OPOPO) 2000-2002: President Victoria United (OPOPO) 2002-2010: President of the Njalla Quan Sport Academy 2015-2021: President of Limbe Football Club Association (LIFCA) April 2022 he was appointed to the National Veterans Commission of Football by the Cameroon Football Federation Since 2001 Member of the jury of the international football tournament of Limbe Supporting member and contributor of the Bamboutos Football Club of Mbouda.

The funeral mass was attended by the Governor of the South West Region Bernard Okalia Bilia, CDC GM Franklin Njie, Fako SDO, Chaibou, D.O Limbe I Moni Innocent Nanje, Divisional Delegates, Mayor’s, CPDM militants among others.
