Limbe Paramount Chief injects new Notables, elevates Notables to Senior Notables

In a bid to foster development in Limbe Royal Chiefdom and improve administrative efficiency, the Paramount of Limbe HRM John Elufa Manga Williams, has issued a royal decree appointing key personalities to strategic positions in the palace and affiliated structures. 

The appointments, dated Saturday, November 8, 2025, are seen as part of a broader effort to revitalise the chiefdom’s governance, communication, and community development initiatives. 

The decision is grounded in a series of legal and traditional frameworks, including Chieftaincy Decree No. 77/245 of 15 July 1977, later amended by Decree No.2013/332 of 13 September 2013, which organizes traditional communities into chiefdoms. 

Considering Prime Ministerial decision n° 004B of 18 January 2022 confirming the designation by Limbe Kingmakers of Mr. John Elufa Manga Williams as the First-Class Chief of Limbe. 

Hereby decides as follows: Article 1 That in consideration of the important role played in coordinating and galvanising the community in the achievement of some of the Chiefdom's goals, particularly the provision of free water to our communities, the following individuals have been upgraded to the status of Senior Notables:

The royal decree, the appointees “shall benefit from all the advantages that come with this appointment,” 

According to Limbe Paramount Chiefdom, HRM Elufa John Manga Williams, the Chiefdom decided to appoint new Notables to the Royal Council and to elevate two esteemed Notables to the distinguished rank of Senior Notable. 

“These decisions were not made lightly, but are the result of careful deliberation, observation, and a deep-seated belief in the necessity of dynamic and dedicated leadership”, 

The Paramount Chief's confidence in these individuals is rooted in the following compelling reasons, which align directly with the sacred pledge to upgrade and elevate our Royal Chiefdom:

Appointments of Notable/ Elevation of Notables to Senior Notables

Below are the following appointees Notables to Senior Notables; Notable Nambeke Edward Martin, Notable Dr. Ndive La Manga. 

While, Mme Margaret Ejomi Koffle, Dr. Samuel Belsham Moki, Dr. Yoland Eposi Nokuri and Dr. Hedwig Eposi Williams were appointed as Notables.

The following appointees will in the days ahead be installed into their functions duties. Marking a significant mark in the history of Limbe Paramount Chiefdom.
