Limbe II: Lower Boando village gets new Chief

HRM Chief Bruno Ngomba is the new third class Chief of Lower Boando Village, in Limbe II Subdivision. He was installed Friday September 3, 2021 by the Divisional Officer for Limbe II Subdivision Meke Serge Albert with a call to maintain peace and order in the village and install vigilante group to enhance safety and security of the village.


The D.O urged Chief Bruno Ngale to promote the socioeconomic and cultural Development of his village by identifing available resources which can improved the daily life of the population of Lower Boando in Limbe II Subdivision.


"This is your Chief, if you fail to give him maximum respect from amongst you, don't expect strangers to respect him but if he gets optimum respect from his subjects then we will all give him the respect" Meke Serge said.


He reminded them that the Chief is an auxiliary of the administration as such acts as a brigde between the village and the state, he therefore relay to the village states instructions, orientation and make sure they are implemented to the later.

D.O serge meke Albert equally called on the newly installed chief to maintain peace and order in the village as it is one of his major obligation in which he has the power to install a vigilante group and make sure the safety and security of the village is maintain.

To the population of Lower Boando D.O Meke Serge of said time for petition writing nor fighting or pointing of fingers and insult are over." Now is new history and a new chapter".

"We should stand beside the Chief and support him like the biblical Israelites did to Moses their leader on the mountain” He reiterated.


Speaking to the press shortly after his installation, the newly installed Chief of Lower Boando Village HRM Chief Ngale Bruno said his immediate priority is first is to build the socio cohesion between him and his entire village.

Again access road and electricity to the village will be some of the major developmental projects for the village. He used the opportunity to called on all his subjects to rally behind him in transforming Lower Boando Village to be a place to be.


Background of HRM Chief Bruno Ngomba


HRM Chief Ngale Bruno Ngomba was born on January 11, 1994 in Limbe . He attended Government Primary School Mokundage where he obtained his FSLC in 2006, he later proceed to G.T.C Isokolo where he obtained CAP in 2010 and in 2012 he became a holder of BAC technical at G.T.H.S Bamenda.

In his professional experience he gained admission into the Nkwame Kruma University Ghana where he graduated with an HND and later Bachelor degree in engineering with speciality in oil and gas.

Chief Ngale Bruno Ngomba has gain working experience as water control processor but soon abandoned this to take over the duty as the Chairman of the Lower Boando Traditional Council. Lower Boando is a village located in Limbe II Subdivision in Fako Division at the football of Mount Cameroon bounded in the North by Upper Boando, the South by Bobende, in the East by Mokunda and the West by Mokundange.

The Village is blessed with fertile soul, present of important trees for timber and medicine , natural spring water sources and black cement gravel. With a population of 2500 inhabitants with hunting, agriculture are principal activities.


HRH Ngale Bruno Ngomba has as a vision of transforming his community. He was appointed as the Chairman of the village Traditional Council in 2017, his outstanding wisdom, dedication and leadership skills fits perfectly into his grandfather's shoe who joined his ancestors last April 6, 2017 after a brief illness.
