Limbe: Fire razes dozen wooden structure rooms to ashes

12-room wooden structure rooms has been razed down to ashes by wild flame fire.


According to information KNews gathered, the sad incident happened Sunday August 21, 2021 at about 1pm. KNews further learnt the house belongs to Tanyi Ernest of Bakoko quarter in Limbe I Subdivision.


The 12-room wooden structure, according to an occupant who spoke to KNews on anonymity, said the structure went into flames allegedly by electric circuit which consequently caused a spark on the wooden structure that ended up consuming the entire building.

The destroyed wooden structure has reportedly rendered more than 10 tenants homeless, after partial home items got consumed in the flames.



Limbe City Council fire fighting service arrived 20 minutes at the scene when the entire structure was already engulfed into flame.
