Ex-students of Saker Baptist College, EXSSA on Saturday rounded-up their four-days Annual General Meeting marking the 43rd edition that ran from January 31- February 2, 2025 brought together Exssans in and out of Cameroon at Marcsons Hotel, Limbe dubbed ; Abiding in the Lordship of Jesus Christ" (John 18: 1-8).
Speaking during the event, the National President of EXSSA, Madam Eno Magdalene Bache epse Nkeng said “We must get to that point where as the prodigal don in the Bible find ourselves embracing all those who has left us and stand in one canopy and declare that they’re past students of Saker”.
She added that the mission under the integration, resolution and conflict sub committee is to reconcile the break away fractions of EXSSA. “That should be our main target as we leave from here today” Madam Eno Magdalene added.
Madam Eno Magdalene is optimistic that before the next AGM to be hosted by Yaounde Chapter which is the mother Chapter that she belongs all the break away fractions might have reconciled and join the entire folk for a bigger EXSSA.
Series of resolutions were taken to better enhance the Association growth which she revealed that they now have over 2000 new members globally.
Quizzed on her appraisal after the 43rd AGM she expressed exceeding joy. “I think the spirit that unite us at every General Meeting is maintained. That spirit of love unity and of sisterhood that excitement that fill the air when we come together”,
“You see an old classmate that you have not seen for a long time, so I think is a platform that unite and reconnect us with our classmate.” Madam Eno Magdalene explained.
Activities of the 43rd AGM comprises of match pass, gala, common meal, tribute to fallen EXSSA among others.
EXSSANs wrapped up activities in Limbe today with a thanksgiving service at Mizpah Baptist church New Town all eyes are now focused to Yaounde the mother Chapter for a successful organisation come 2026.
