The mortal remains of late Queen Mother Lydia Aloma Epey will be laid to rest tomorrow February 1, 2024 in Mboka Village, Nguti Subdivision of the South West Region of Cameroon.
During the funeral service in Limbe yesterday, the Parish Pastor of PC Bonadikombo Mile 4, Rev. Enanga Wilson told mourners to live their life worthy of their calling as Christians and be ready to meet their creator whenever he comes knocking.
She called on mourners to continue to pray for the late Queen Mother for God to grant her eternal rest in heaven.

Born on October 15, 1949 in Ediengoh, Nguti Subdivision, South West Region, Cameroon, to Pa Zacheous Eyambe Nfanga of blessed memory, the late Queen Mother attended Government Primary School Nguti where she earned her First School Leaving Certificate.
Thereafter being so beautiful and hardworking, she was asked for a hand in marriage by late Chief Epey Tambe as a wife to his son late Chief Epey John Bisong.
She found herself getting married into a polygamous home where, at one point she was faced with the herculean task of raising all the children of this polygamous household.
Queen Mother, Lydia Aloma Epey was a fervent Christian of the Presbyterian Church Bonadikombo and a very active member of CWF and participated in church activities on a regular basis.
The Queen Mother was also active in social groups like the Bassosi Women’s meeting, Port Authority Women, among others.
According to the family, the Queen Mother was preparing to embark on a trip to Kenya, In East Africa for a marriage ceremony she was invited to when the cold hands of death snatched her on Monday November 25, 2024 at about 1pm.
In his tribute, the Queen Mother's US-based son, Eyambe Johnson son said “O death, where’s thy sting. My beloved mother, your absence has left a gaping hole in our hearts and insurmountable void to fill”,
“Life will never be the same again without your presence...You were an incredible woman, mother, grandmother with so much compassion and love.
You were shining star on a hill, you brought a smile to faces everywhere you went”…
The Queen mother late Lydia Aloma Epey is survived by her numerous children and grandchildren, brothers, sisters, cousins, nephews, nieces and friends to mourn her.
