The Chairlady of the Supervisory Board of Limbe Urban Council Cooperative Credit Union, LUCCCUL, Yvonne Ngowo epse Sama has been recognised and awarded an award for her selfless, exceptional leadership during her term of office as a supervisor Board of LUCCCUL.
She received this award recently during the 30th edition of the LCCCUL Annual General Meeting, AGM, held at Limbe City Council Hall Down Beach Limbe.
Speaking during the event, the president of the Board of Director LUCCCUL, Esombe Lingate Samuel applaud the outgoing executive members of the Board for their sacrifices they offered for the job well done.
On the recognition cardboard, the Board writes “The certificate of recognition presented to Yvonne Ngowo Sama for her dedication services to the Limbe Urban Council Credit Union, LCCCUL as Secretary and later Chairlady of the Supervisory Board from 2011-2024.”
Meanwhile on the award, the Board states “With our deepest appreciation, we hereby honour Yvonne Sama with Award in recognition for your many years of selfless service, exceptional leadership and unconditional commitment services as the Supervisory Board of Limbe Urban Council Cooperative Credit Union Ltd.
Presenting the ward and recognition to Yvonne Ngowo, the president of Buea Police Credit Union, who doubles as the president of CAMCCUL for Fako, Evangelist Mafany Quin expressed joy for seeing a woman receiving such an award.
“It means LUCCCUL is not gender bias, the work is open for everyone who can work. It’s a matter of productivity who can do the work carefully.
“You know, the work is not a paid job, but voluntary, the person must be sincere, devoted and goal-getter.
On her part, Madam Yvonne Ngowo expressed exceeding joy for receiving such a well deserved recognition and award from LUCCCUL.
She appreciated the members for the support during her term of office as Supervisory Board church.
It should be noted that the new executive members were installed and are already executing their duties as Board members.
