The Central African Banking Commission (COBAC) has prescribed rigor, transparency, and accountability for the newly installed General Manager of National Financial Credit Bank (NFC) and his team.
The new NFC General Manager, Julius Manjo Berdu, and his team were installed on Monday, July 28, 2025, by the Minister of Finance, Louis Paul Motaze, in Yaounde, with a call for him and his team to generate more revenue for the State.
Julius Manjo, formerly an operational Manager, was promoted to the position of Managing Director of NFC Bank.
His rich experience, spanning over 25 years, makes him the right man to revive the bank. The banker, who is a native of Bimbia Village in Limbe III Subdivision, Fako Division, South West Region, holds a Bachelor's degree in Economics from the University of Lagos, Nigeria.
Before joining NFC Bank in 2012, he held management positions at Bank of America Cameroon and Amity Bank Cameroon, where he served as Managing Director.
Throughout his career, he has contributed to the oil and private equity sectors, notably at Gulf Oil Corporation, IOCS-Africa Informatifs, and Central Africa Investment Corporation (CENAINVEST).
Speaking shortly after his installation, Julius Manjo Berdu says he will assume this new responsibility with dedication, integrity, and a sense of duty, so as to make NFC Bank a bank of choice in Cameroon and Central African subregions.
