Just-in: Official update - All Bimbia Conference postponed again!

The Organising Committee has announced a new date of Saturday, April 26, 2025 following another postponement of the highly anticipated event.

The All Bimbia Conference (ABC1) which was scheduled to take place on Saturday, April 12, 2025 has been postponed to Saturday April 26, 2025 

This is contained in a communique issued by the organising committee of ABC1 dated Monday, March 26, 2025 endorsed in Bimbia, Fako Division, South West, Cameroon. 

According the communique issued by Bimbia Cultural and Development Association (BICUDA) which KNews procure a copy, the organising communique cited the need to ensure massive mobilisation and participation of the life changing event of Bimbia Clan. 

“The All Bimbia Conference One (ABC1) event has been rescheduled for Saturday, April 26, 2025, at 9 a.m. Preliminary activities are programmed for Friday, April 25, 2025”,

“On this note, all Bimbia sons and daughters, both home and abroad, are called upon to mobilize, register, and support this life-changing event by subscribing to BICUDA on or before April 5, 2025”,

“A detailed program will be communicated in the days ahead through subsequent communiqués after the BICUDA Bonangombe planning meeting on Saturday, April 5, 2025. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused.” The communique stated.

The organising committee added that physical or digital participation of all Bimbia Sons and Daughters will be Highly Appreciated. 

It should be noted that BICUDA is geared to promote Bimbia unity, valorise Bimbia culture, facilitate development, resolve their collective participation, and unite Bimbia for development. 

This initiative of ABC1 is coming up barely months ago after palpitating tension that rocked Limbe III municipality over the ‘ceding of Bimbia Slave Trade village to Gilgal Tours Company, without the knowledge of local authorities.

It remains unclear if the said tensions are over yet or rather ‘sleeping dogs have just been allowed to sleep in the mean time.
