HRM Kwami Beckley appoints new Notables in Monde Royal Chiefdom

The Chief of Monde village in Muea court area, Buea Subdivision, HRM Kwami Beckley Nangoh has issued a royal decree appointing new Notables in his Chiefdom.

The appointments, dated Sunday, December 7, 2025, are seen as part of a broader effort to revitalise the chiefdom’s governance, and community development initiatives.

According to HRM Kwami Beckley this move is to foster development in Monde Royal Chiefdom and improve administrative efficiency.

The decision is grounded in a series of legal and traditional frameworks, including Chieftaincy Decree No. 77/245 of 15 July 1977, later amended by Decree No.2013/332 of 13 September 2013, which organizes traditional communities into chiefdoms. 

Mindful of prefectoral order No 263/AP/G.37/SP of 16 April 2019, to confirm designation of MR KWAMI BECKLEY NANGOH as third (3rd) class Chief of Monde Village, Buea Subdivision in Fako, Southwest Region.

Hereby decides as follows; Article 1: That in consideration of the important role played in coordinating and galvanising the community in the achievement of some of the Chiefdom's goals, the following personalities are hereby appointed Notables in Monde Royal Chiefdom.

According to the communique, the appointees “shall benefit from all the advantages that come with this appointment,” 

“These decisions were not made lightly, but are the result of careful deliberation, observation, and a deep-seated belief in the necessity of dynamic and dedicated leadership”.

Appointments of Notables: Below are the following appointees; -Sango Embola Isaac Mbua

-Sango Shedile Nganje -Sango Efande Johnson -Sango Essengue Amougou Alain -Sango Leslie Legima Gwanmesia.

Sango Mafany Ngando-Sango Thierry Minlo Pierre-Sango Mbua Christopher -Sango Simon Njie Esowe-Ngango Enjema Mosoke Marie and Sango Serge Iss Bedeltoguem Kamga.

The following appointees will be installed into their duties on January 9-10, 2026, marking a significant mark in the history of Monde Chiefdom.
