Hon Ngeka Etoke takes helm as Fako SDF coordinator, invites youths to join party

Hon Fritz Ngeka Etoke is new Fako SDF Divisional Coordinator for Fako Division. He replaced 

Former Mayor of Tiko, Joseph Eloundou Mambe.

He was chosen by acclamation on Saturday, April 19, 2025 by all the District chairpersons and representatives present.

He was was immediately installed by the South West Regional Chairperson, Chief John Kona Makia during their South West Regional meeting which took place in Limbe. 

He described Hon. Fritz Etoke as the square peg in a square hole and a grass root politician par excellence. 

Speaking shortly after his installation, the New coordinator called the youths in Fako to join his party where everyone has an equal opportunity to excel, not to allow themselves to remain as errand boys and girls for the old who will never think of them when its harvest time.

Quizzed on his plan of action, Hon. Etoke said work starts immediately and he will focus on reconciliation of the entire SDF family in Fako, recruit new militants, boost voters registration.

“I’ll commence immediately with preparation for upcoming elections and above all make sure the SDF has a landslide victory in Fako in all upcoming presidential elections”,

“With my team we will start looking for young vibrant and friendly candidates for the Parliamentary to replace the inexistent and run away MPs of the party”.

“We don’t like anymore in Fako because we only see them on social media and public ceremonies and we also have to take back the Muyuka and Tiko councils to add to those of Limbe and Idenau.” Hon. Fritz Etoke stated.

He added “SDF will solve the water problems by creating solarised boreholes in every quarter, electrify the streets with solar lamps, make sure we have a good waste management system in all our towns” 

“Provide jobs for the youths and make sure the cancawum of non payment of workers salaries in all councils in Fako comes to an end as has also been in all SDF run councils.” Hon. Fritz Etoke said.

Who’s Hon Fritz Etoke?

Hon Fritz Etoke, a former CPDM Parliamentarian who played politics according to his conscience not with the dictates of party hierarchy and crossed carpet to the SDF.

His influence in Tiko municipality and Mutengene in particular transcends politics, hospitality industry and philanthropy to sports and education with the creation of Ekoke High School and Etoke Sports Academy for the Underprivileged.

Both institutions in Mutengene are boarding with students from all regions of the country who did exceedingly well at the last GCE examinations.  

The institutions have changed the image of "Cham City" as it is fondly called, with the Sports Academy, a star attraction of development and entertainment in a tranquil and safe environment.
