HOFA sensitises Buea inhabitants on activism

During the 16 Days of Activism, commemoration Sarah-Derval Lifanda and Team of HOPE OF AFRICA (HOFA) in collaboration with United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees, UNHCR, have build the capacity and knowledge of young boys and girls in different school milius around Fako.

The event which took place recently in Buea at Kingston Memorial Bokwango and Graceland nursery and primary school Clerks quarters.


Tagged "Unite activism to end violence against women and girls" Sarah-Derval Lifanda said; “We orange world as we stand together as activists to end GBV”.

With the goal to educate girls on the different forms of violence which are physical violence, sexual violence socio-economic, verbal violence and Psychological violence under which other forms of violence fall.


She added that their vision is to have young people act as pace setters in evading all forms of violence through diverse preventive measures.


Sarah-Derval Lifanda explained that their mission is to inspire and promote breakthroughs in the way the world treats women and achieve immediate and lasting change in their lives.
