The Executive Director of Hope of Africa (HOFA), Sarah-Derval Ephosi Lifanda, has been honored with the Victory Community Impact Award in recognition of her significant contributions to community service.
The prestigious award was presented by the Victory Residence Hotel / Victory Waah Foundation on Thursday, August 27, 2026.
The plaque, inscribed "In Recognition of your significant contributions to the community through Service," celebrates Lifanda's dedicated leadership and sustained commitment to humanitarian and community development work through HOFA.
Reacting to the honor, Lifanda expressed deep gratitude, dedicating the award to her team and supporters.
"I am honored and deeply grateful to have received this award from the Victory / Waah Foundation. This recognition is not just mine - it belongs to the entire HOFA team and everyone who has supported, volunteered, and worked with me to serve our community. The work continues," she said.
Under her leadership, Hope of Africa has been at the forefront of community empowerment, youth engagement, peacebuilding and humanitarian support in the South West Region and beyond.
