Members of Government High School Limbe Ex students Association, GHLESA 91 on Saturday, February 22, 2025 gathered in Limbe for their Annual General Meeting, AGM, to assess activities for 2024.
Speaking during the event, the President, Ndonfack Etienne Nganju appreciated members for their massive turnout and the commitment, frankness and outspoken nature of members.
In the course of the AGM, members agreed for GHLESA 91 to acquire its own land. “You know, land is a lucrative business; we have accepted to acquire a land and we have accepted to empower our mates in training, health and to provide accommodation to members who are facing challenges”, Ndonfack Etienne said.
It was also agreed that the Association will open data base to have information of members so as to have records. “This reunion is not just an event, it's a testament to the enduring bonds and enduring memories that connect us all.
Looking around this room and those connected through the shared link, I see doctors, engineers, artists, entrepreneurs, educators, lawyers and so many more diverse talents.
Let us use this time to renew our connections, ideas, share our stories and explore how we can continue to contribute to the betterment of our society, our professions and our beloved alma mater”, Ndonfack Etienne told his peers.
The Association has 55 registered out of an estimation of 300 members. Ndonfack Etienne called on other members in and out of the country to join the folk.
“Today is not only an opportunity to reconnect with old friends and reminisce about the good old days but also a chance to inspire and support each other in our ongoing pursuits”, he said.
The AGM was characterized with sports, interaction with mates among others.
