The Former Mayor of Tiko Council and Chief of Ebonji village, in Tiko Subdivision, Fako Division, HRH Chief Moukondo Daniel Ngande died early this morning February 1, 2025 after a brief malaise.
It should be noted that Mayor Moukondo became Mayor of Tiko Council on October 16, 2013 after the municipal elections of September 30, 2013. He was elected on the ticket of the opposition, Social Democratic Front, SDF party.
He apparently fell out of favour with local leadership of the party in the bill up to the February 9, 2020 municipal elections.
The SDF Chair refused to include his name on the list of candidates who were to run for the municipal elections on the SDF ticket in Tiko.
Prelude to the elections, he was enthroned Chief of Ebonji village on January 31, 2020.
